World Mental Health Day

New research from Citizens Advice shines a light on the relationship between debt and mental health, as figures show that six in ten debt clients have had a mental health problem within the last  six months. For people struggling to make ends meet money worries lead many to feel stressed, depressed and anxious, while for some people with mental health conditions, their diagnosis can mean lead to behaviour which means they are more likely to get into debt. Speaking on World Mental Health Day, Citizens Advice has called on financial institutions to do more to support people with mental health issues.
