You are not alone – Citizens Advice Bureau Cornwall are always here to help if you are in Debt
January is one of the busiest times of the year for Citizens Advice Bureau Cornwall. Christmas spending can see people finding it hard to make ends meet; life can very quickly become very difficult, as household bills and general day to day spending become a struggle.
Debt Awareness Week which is led by the national charity Step Change is an opportunity to raise awareness about debt and the organisations that are here to help you during those difficult times. CAB Cornwall has trained debt workers who provide simple solutions to get you back on track.
Last year CAB Cornwall saw over 12,000 people. 42% of the clients that contacted our offices had a debt issue that needed resolving. During 2013/14 a client satisfaction survey showed that 85% of clients reported that they coped well with their problems as result of interventions from CAB Cornwall.
