Boardmasters refuses to say (07/08/2019) if it’ll offer refunds for last minute cancellation

Boardmasters festival in Cornwall has been cancelled just hours before it was due to open. The 53,000 people affected are still to hear whether they’ll be refunded.

You can get a refund if the organiser cancels, moves or reschedules the event if you bought your tickets from an official seller.

However, you’re unlikely to get money back if you bought your ticket from a reselling or secondary ticketing website, private seller or fan-to-fan.  You won’t be entitled to a refund if you change your mind or can’t go anymore.

If you get a refund, you will most likely only get the face value of the ticket back. Postage could be refunded if the tickets don’t get sent out.  You might not get booking or card fees back or any travel or accommodation costs, unless they were part of the ticket package.

We recommend that you check the ticket seller’s website for terms and conditions to find out what liability is excluded or limited.
